The Margin Strategy and Investment Optimization (MSIO) finance team is an exciting and fast-evolving finance team at the forefront of Microsoft’s Cloud-first strategy.

The Cloud Infrastructure Strategy, Planning & Delivery (CISPD) finance team is responsible for supporting delivering cloud capacity at the right time, right place and right cost. We are seeking an experienced Finance professional to manage the server rack pricing. The successful candidate will bring a combination of deep financial modeling and technical skills. This role will manage all aspect of the server pricing financials and system updates as well as working closely with our system integrators & sourcing managers to develop a best in class pricing model.

Responsibilities

The role requires a high degree of agility and skill in navigating multiple stakeholder requirements while enabling accelarated growth aspirations for the business in a highly competitive market environment. To be successful, the individual needs to be highly collaborative, self-motivated, and curious in learning.

Work closely with Sourcing Managers (SM) and system integrators (SIs) to gather and update rack pricing in the system (D365)
Design and enhance processes that support the growing Cloud business by collaborating with Engineering to maintain D365
Partners with key stakeholders (Engineering, Sourcing, and other finance peers) to define price optimization initiatives by analyzing and synthesizing quantitative & qualitative data to develop a compelling pricing strategy.
Partner with system integrators (SIs) to proactively address all pricing issues.
Monitor trends and key issue drivers to proactive recommend courses of action.
Design and maintain dashboards to enable ongoing monitoring of business health and ensure data accuracy.
Identify and drive cost saving initiatives.
Be a cultural champion for inclusion, growth mindsets, and establish culture and norms that support consistent quality employee and partner experiences.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field AND 2+ years experience in financial analysis, accounting, controllership, finance, or related field
Or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Science or related field
Or Equivalent experience
