We are looking for a Substation Primary – Earthing Engineer who has knowledge of work procedures and ability to work independently. The Substation Primary – Earthing Engineer shall deliver drawings to the desired quality standards according to mutually agreed timelines with the client. The Substation Primary – Earthing Engineer should be able to communicate in confidence with client or foreign counterpart, attend meetings with technical leads and work with team to deliver projects on time. He/She will plan, schedule, conduct, and communicate work with team members all design aspects of the project.
Here's What You'll Need:
The Substation Primary – Earthing Engineer must have the following qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical Engineer or equivalent
Experience in earthing and lightning protection design (AIS & GIS Substation experience up to 400kV is desirable.)
Detailed design and documentation of high and low voltage earthing systems for infrastructure projects involving distribution, transmission, and generation
Knowledge on EMC assessment
Knowledge on site work involving soil resistivity testing and current injection testing.
Extensive experience in the use of SES & Technologies CDEGS software.
Proven experience in delivering earthing & bonding designs with excellent project delivery skills.
Excellent communications ability with strong general report writing skills.
Experience in the use of PSCAD is preferred
Technical Bid evaluation/documentation.
Ability to carry out inter- disciplinary coordination.
Proficiency in AutoCAD.
Proficiency in MS Outlook, and MS Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
