Overview

The Infrastructure Planning and Acquisition (IPA) organization is seeking a Senior PM for our Build, Launch& CustomerExperienceTeam.  This roleis responsible forprogrammanagingthe build&launch ofMicrosoft’sCloud infrastructure andenablingourcustomers and partnerstosucceedas theyadoptand growwithrapidly scalingAzure infrastructure and services. This role will be accountable for program managingnew cloud regionlaunches and customer experiencein Asia-Pacific (APAC). The right candidate will drive clarity and decisions oncustomer demandsignalstoInfrastructure planning, Finance andAzure coreteams.You will alsobe responsible forclearly communicating updates toplans and supporting customers to successfullyachieve their digital transformation goals with the Microsoft Cloud.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 7+ years’ experience in cross functional program management, especially ina strategy, planning and decision-makingenvironment

  • 7+ years’ experience in data and analysis for decisionmaking

  • 7+ yearsdemonstratedexperience leading and managing a business-criticalfunction

  • BS/BA degree required;

  • Ability to communicate and present complex analysis at executive levels for alignment and decisionmaking

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to drive projects, and build buy-in andsupport

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7+ year program management experience driving mission critical cross functional infrastructure projects with end-to-enddependencies

  • Experience in planning cloud specific infrastructure

  • Experience managing commercial / public workload migration and digitaltransformations

Responsibilities

This role is essential in delivering Microsoft’s Cloud infrastructurewiththequalityour customers expect.You willalsobe accountablefor driving critical infrastructure decisionsby capturing and analyzingcustomer needs. In particular, thisrole will focus on:

  • Program managing build and launch activitiesfor new cloud regionlaunches

  • Representcustomerthrough analysis of regionalcustomerdemand,supply inputs and variances to support long termdecisions.

  • Coordinating and driving infrastructure decisionsand communications in a professional andtimelymanner

  • Identifyingdata needs, collecting required data, andprovidingthe analysistoexpeditedecisionmaking

  • Coordinating with finance on financial analysis and decision alignment

  • Understanding and clarifying key constraints to deploying new regionsin a timely manner

  • Communicating and getting alignment on long term infrastructure decisions at the VP/CVP level
