Position Description

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Guidewire Engineer to take a lead role in crafting and implementing Guidewire applications. The ideal candidate should bring a robust background in the Guidewire product suite, coupled with exceptional problem-solving skills and leadership acumen. As a Senior Guidewire Engineer, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to deliver top-notch solutions aligned with our clients' business objectives.

Responsibilities

·Spearhead the design and development of Guidewire applications, encompassing configuration, integration, and customization of the Guidewire product suite.

·Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to meticulously gather and analyze requirements.

·Provide technical leadership, guiding a team of engineers in best practices and ensuring the successful project delivery.

·Conduct comprehensive code reviews, mentor junior team members, and actively contribute to refining development processes.

·Work in tandem with quality assurance teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

·Effectively troubleshoot and resolve issues, offering timely and efficient solutions.

·Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Guidewire and the insurance domain.

Qualifications

·Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.

·Proven track record as a Guidewire Developer with expertise in Guidewire PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, and/or ClaimCenter.

·In-depth understanding of the insurance domain and associated business processes.

·Demonstrated experience leading and mentoring development teams.

·Proficiency in Java and Gosu programming languages.

·Solid grasp of web services, databases, and system integration.

·Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

·Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

·Guidewire certification(s) considered a plus.

Salary Range:>$100,000
