We are hiring a Senior Finance Operations Consultant for SEA – could it be you?
About the role
Based in Malaysia and reporting to the SEA Finance Lead, the Senior Finace Operations Consultant will be responsible for monthly forecasting of the business, project financial review and deal pricing review. You will be working with a wide spectrum of people in the organization like delivery management, business development executives, HR, legal, business operations and market units.
Key responsibilities:
Review and analyze the key metrics in SEA and provide actionable data for the business.
Prepare the monthly forecast and annual budget for SEA.
Review the pricing and finance related terms and conditions for new deals.
In charge of mid month and month end revenue variance analysis.
Review of project financials and work closely with Project managers.
Response to internal and external auditors queries on our financials.
Responsible for determining the cost rate of our consultants annually.
Prepare ad-hoc analysis, reports and presentation as required.
Well versed in the company policies that affect your work.
Ensure compliance to internal controls.
About you
You are an analytical person with an eye to detail who is seeking to expand your financial expertise in the IT services industry. You are a fast learner and a team player. You also have the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt quickly to change. You are a people person who has the ability to build relationships at all levels within the organization. You have a curious mindset and a strong interest in understanding the business and what drives performance. You are also able to work independently with minimal supervision and to escalate issues in a timely manner for resolution. Advanced Excel skills is essential.
In addition, you have:
Accounting degree
More than 5 years of working experience, with 1 to 3 years of FP&A and/or audit experience
Advanced Excel skills and excellent knowledge of Office 365
SAP knowledge is a plus
USA GAAP knowledge a plus
Fluent in English (reading, writing and speaking); working knowledge of Bahasa is a plus.
Knowledge of consulting companies/IT industry is a plus
