Revenue System Analyst

Equinix Global Revenue Team consists of four different sub-groups: Operation, Accounting, Reporting, and System. The Revenue System Analyst will support the sub-group Revenue System Accounting with main tasks involving systems, projects, process implementations and/or improvements, and automation. The ideal candidate will utilize a combination of these disciplines: reporting, analysis, problem solving, and training.
Responsibilities
Support revenue operation issues, such as but not limited to data checking and monitoring.
System troubleshooting (Oracle, RevPro, Incorta, Hyperion).
In charge of MMBR and Month End Close activities (revenue validation, product review, etc.).
Active participation in UAT.
Develop, create, modify, and update dashboards and visualizations for the business stakeholders and maintain the integrity of the reports.
Train business partners on new dashboards and reports.
Pool/gather data from multiple sources, filter through the data, analyze the results, and consolidate into a brief report with recommended action items.
Review, Investigate, organize, and explain revenue data for new acquisitions.
Determine the best source for data, ad hoc reports and analysis, and present a summary of findings to management.
Suggest areas for alignment and process improvement
Update existing process and procedural documentation/material in line with system enhancements and changes
Work effectively with cross-functional teams globally, assimilating requirements, driving results in the form of data insights and being liaison between IT and business partners.
Other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
3+ years financial analysis, spreadsheet modeling, and database reporting & analysis experience preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting
Understanding of accounting policies and good knowledge of how data works
Ability to effectively manage time and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work well independently and in groups
Proven problem solving and critical thinking skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent analytical skills with an attention to detail
Very strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Working knowledge of Hyperion and Oracle BI software packages preferred
