Job Summary
Equinix is building a Regional Procurement team and we are looking for a Regional Procurement Specialist/Senior Analyst to support end-to-end procurement services for Regional Project Executions. As Regional Procurement Specialist, you will be responsible for supporting the daily procurement tasks lead by Regional Procurement Managers in APAC.
Responsibilities
Business Support
Support Market Intelligence Exercise in APAC
Support Budgeting Exercise and end to end RFQ Exercise (e.g., E-sourcing and PO)
Support Contract Execution in APAC via E-Sign and/or Wet Signature including PR/PO processes
Support Delivery Tracking process
Support Benchmarking, Business Review process
Minutes of meeting taking, distribution and follow up with the respective action parties
Assist on any ad-hoc tasks assigned
Order Management
Ensure purchase requisition documentation is properly executed (i.e. Contracts signed), quotes remain valid, and/or that Catalogues are utilized where applicable
Creates Purchase Requisitions on behalf of the Requesters for agreed business purchase categories
Promptly sends feedback to the business where there are issues with the documents or proposed Purchase Request
Qualifications
Diploma in engineering field or equivalent practical experience
3 years of relevant experience
Goal and team-oriented, proactive, and willing to learn & improve
Well organized, pay close attention to detail
Flexible and adaptable to a fast-changing environment and APAC time zone
Competent in Microsoft Office Package and SharePoint
Preferred qualifications
Degree in a technical or engineering field or MBA
Demonstrated regional experience with large-scale industrial engineering and construction programs, preferably data centers
Experience in commodity or supply chain management, and contract management
Experience with PowerBI, Anaplan, SAP, Coupa, Smartsheet or equivalent
