This is an exciting opportunity to join our Melbourne team and lead the delivery of a new portfolio of works with multiple works packages. You will be ensuring the design, production, installation, testing, and documentation control are compliant with Customer specifications and QA (QUALITY ASSURANCE) standards.

You will liaise directly with the customers and contractors to ensure the desired solutions meet the technical specifications required for the project. You will be looked upon for your organizational skills and technical innovation to help a fast-paced team perform at the highest level.

Key responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage design development, pricing and allocation of work packages.

  • Plan, coordinate and prepare project deliverables required to initiate, develop, and execute assigned projects.

  • Supply leadership to complete the project on time and within budget.

  • Ensure proper project focus and allocation of resources to achieve forecasts.

  • Effectively manage projects to meet performance and project requirements.

  • Ensure project financial status is regularly reviewed and updated.

  • Supply project updates to senior management.

  • Preparation of QA documentation.

  • Involved in Software testing, System Commissioning and Building Tuning

  • Effectively manage customer/contractor relationships

  • Ability to identify opportunities, improvements and solutions that will enable you to plan and drive continuous initiatives for organizational improvement.

  • Ability to demonstrate elevated levels of disciplined, professionalism, ethics, and accuracy in delivery of works under limited timeframe pressures.

What we are looking for:

  • Engineering Qualification with Construction Experience.

  • Be able to adapt, develop through digital transformation.

  • Experience in Building technology, inclusive of 3rd Party industrial protocols and integrations.

  • Effective handling of project reviews and handling by conducting FAT (Factory Acceptance test), SAT (Site Acceptance Test).

  • Strong understanding of Chiller/Boiler and Air side plant performance and design requirements.

  • Competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, Project, Visio. BIM and AutoCAD skills would be an advantage to the applicant.

  • Exceptional time management and communication skills.

  • Ability to work within a team environment.
