Job Summary
This role is technical, hands-on, engineering role for security specialists knowingJava and having experience with distributed, highly automated environment or adeveloper having understanding of security and open to learn new things.
Your responsibility will be reducing risk and improving security posture by analyzing vulnerabilities and implementing remediations while working within development team.
As a product security engineer, you will be having unique opportunity to be areal DevSecOps and working day to day within development team to delivergreat and secure product to our clients. You will be working very closely withglobal Application Security Team and other product security engineers, ensuringthat your product security is increasing and going along with other products.
Responsibilities
Ensuring secure connections and proper deployments of microservices and apps
Helping developers in threat modeling,
Managing configurations of security tools for your product in alignment withother products and Application Security
Cooperate on response, communication and remediation aspects of securityincidents, events and breaches, should they happen to you product
Audit, analyze and design improvement for application and artifacts used bythem
Adopting and improving cloud and infra security controls
In limited scope but - application testing and analysis – SAST, DAST,penetration testing
Improving security and compliance controls in support of DevOps processes
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of professional IT experience related to Security and/or Java programming
Solid understanding of SDLC and DevSecOps processes
Ability to interact with a broad cross-section of personnel to explain andenforce security measures
Good knowledge of Java, Spring (Kotlin as a plus) and front end technologies
Experience with distributed applications (including configuration of docker,K8s, service mesh, etc)
Professional experience with DevOps tooling - ansible or/and chef or/andpuppet, any cloud automation tools like terraform
Experience with AWS security services and configuration
Understanding of web app security
Advantageous to have the following
Understanding of compliance frameworks like PCI, ISO, GDPR and SOC
Understanding of AuthN and AuthZ standards and protocols, including OIDC,OAuth, etc
Understanding of WAF and its rules management
Any security or cloud certification
Network security knowledge
Experience with Hashicorp Vault
DevOps experience
