Procurement Analyst

As a key member of the Procurement Center of Excellence team, you will be the main point of contact for Procurement analytics development working closely with the internal Power BI development team to ensure that the Procurement Analytics strategy is delivered, and data quality is maintained.  

You will also be the Smartsheet SME for the Procurement function, advising developing and building solutions. You will maintain and manage mapping tables that are used for the control centres that have been developed.  

Responsibilities

Procurement Analytics Lead  

  • Support in development of procurement analytics and master data management strategy  

  • Lead the creation of better visualization in Power BI of procurement spend using quantitative methods to derive actionable insights and outcomes from data  

  • Work with the Procurement and other key stakeholders to identify data analysis requirements  

  • Drive competitive advantage for Equinix by treating procurement data and analytics a strategic asset  

  • Tier 1 response to analytics development requests, working with the Product development team to triage  

  • Manage and update analytics mapping files ensuring they are update date and maintained in a timely manner  

  • Perform or co-ordinate user acceptance testing where appropriate  

  • Work with Power BI Product Manager to manage pipeline of requests  

  • Continually monitor exceptions report and perform root cause analysis to correct errors maintaining data quality  

Smartsheet administrator and SME  

  • Serve as a Smartsheet subject matter expert (SME) on Smartsheet product capabilities  

  • Configure/develop solutions in Smartsheet  

  • Translate business requirements into solutions that best leverage the Smartsheet platform 

  • Participate in technical design sessions with our Smartsheet architects; and document technical solutions aligned with business objectives  

  • Develop tools, processes, and standard methodologies to ensure internal customers are realizing the greatest possible value from Smartsheet  

  • Lead activities including requirements collection, data management, solutioning, build, test, launch, and production/operations support  

  • Continuously coordinate and share relevant technology trends within the Smartsheet ecosystem and work management tools  

  • Develop processes and standard methodologies to ensure customers are realizing the greatest possible value from digital workflows

Skills and Qualifications 

  • 2+ years of Smartsheet Core Product Development (Non-Coding)  

  • 1+ years of experience using Smartsheet Control Center, Creating Blueprints, Automation and Formulas.  

  • Experience in analyzing data and applying tools such as Power BI to extract data for further analysis 

  • Strong Process documentation skills 

  • Must be able to work independently with ambiguous requests and liaise with stakeholders to develop a clear deliverable
