Introduction

We are looking for a L&D specialist to provide world class technical learning solutions. This position’s primary focus will be on development of wholistic employee development programs and learning paths within the technical and engineering arena, and with upgrading our technical learning environment with new and effective learning methods and solutions. 

Your Job

  • Join a team of training specialists and technical instructors to deliver learning solutions to employees at all levels. Focus is specifically on technical training topics ranging from semiconductor and technology knowledge to statistical and process control knowledge, among others 

  • Collaborate with business leadership, HR business partners, managers, and employees to assess key development needs for technicians, engineers, and technical specialists. Create and implement classroom and web-based trainings accordingly 

  • Based on own area of expertise, conduct classroom training, and/or coordinate internal and external trainers. Ensure high quality of trainings. Constantly drive improvements. 

  • Align and coordinate specific development programs and training initiatives with business counterparts and with our learning & development organizations globally, drive implementation and ongoing execution. Drive and align training implementation across multiple sites. 

  • Manage government and institutional grants, and other related programs.

  • Create new and modern learning approaches aligned with business and employee needs

  • Understand and communicate complex relationships and content in a structured way 

  • Responsible for administration of assigned learning domains, including support and evaluation of internal and external instructors

  • Support on global, regional, and local L&D projects, soft skills programs, and activities.

  • Create digital content and videos for learning, engagement, and branding projects.

  • Partner with L&D team members to provide a world class onboarding, assimilation and orientation for new hires

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College and or University in Engineering, Education, Technical Discipline or Related Field

  • Minimum 6 years of work experience

  • Minimum 1 or more years work experience with a manufacturing startup/ semiconductor industry

  • Experience in a role supporting learning/training for an organization

  • Experience as an instructor/facilitator

  • Experience with formal training methodology, preferably using Performance Based Equipment Training (PBET), Training Within Industry (TWI), and/or Criterion Referenced Instruction (CRI) methodology

  • Experience with Instructional Design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.)

  • Fluency in English – must have excellent English language skills in both writing and speaking

  • Experience with customer audit process

  • Experience in global team collaboration

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree from an Accredited College and or University in Engineering, Education, Technical Discipline or Related Field

  • Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders

  • WSQ Advanced Certificate in Learning and Performance (ACLP) or ACTAAbility to develop and maintain effective working relationships with senior management and other key stakeholders

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and able to react to shifting priorities to meet business needs

  • Advanced computer skills with MS Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

  • Design, development, and delivery of learning initiatives for all levels of an organization

  • Experience with data management, warehousing, business intelligence requirements and data quality; preferably using data visualization tool- MS Power BI

  • Experience in Learning Management Systems, preferably SumTotal (Skillsoft)

  • Experience with semiconductor industry and delivery of process related training

  • Applicable knowledge of semiconductor factory systems

  • Experienced in the development and management of On-the-Job training (OJT)

  • Experience in applying adult learning principles

  • Experience with eLearning authoring tools (Adobe Captivate, Articulate Studio, Articulate Storyline, Lectora, etc.)

  • Ability to influence and persuade others to buy into goals or actions, without having to rely on positional power
