Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in developing integrated circuits (pre-silicon, first silicon bring-up, new product introduction) tools, flows, solution and methodology across design and test domain with strong software implementation experience.

  • 5+ years of experience in product and test engineering, specializing in ATE test program development

  • 5+ years of leading development of test engineering solutions such as vector definition, generation and implementation

  • 2+ years’ experience in large scale and/or high performance (i.e., AI, machine leaning, neural nets, CPU’s) and/or high power SoCs/chips on advanced process nodes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong presentation and communication skills.

  • Strong software architecture, solution implementation and software practices

  • Good understanding of bring-up/debug, characterization/manufacturing test (on ATEs).

  • Advantest V93K experience is a plus

  • Ability to drive development and bring up test content on mixed signal IP’s is a plus.

  • Strong probability and statistical background including DOE’s.

  • Experience in 

  • Leading cross functional teams and understands program/project management.

  • Managing supply chain, vendors / partners, and Integrated Circuit production.

  • Experience in system/customer requirements gathering and interfacing.

  • Device physics background.

  • Experience with failure analysis, qualification, and yield analysis

  • Trusted Computer architecture fundamentals/background

  • Great unit/integration testing skills

  • Fantastic Linux skills

  • Background in debugging and optimizing software

This is a senior technical role as an architect for tools, flow, and methodology definition, development, manufacturing capability, testing capability and deployment for product engineering to enable seamless product execution.

  • Lead engineering tool definition from testing perspective: this includes test interface, test library, test vector generation, design trace to vector conversion capability, VCS model replay, test program capability, technical tester configuration definition requirement, wafer sort test requirement as well as final test requirement.

  • Technical lead for building capabilities in APAC creating efficiency in strategy industry partner collaboration and advancing silicon engineering functions (foundry/OSAT/ODM suppliers, component suppliers, equipment suppliers and Test services )

  • Establish semiconductor device physics and quality/reliability model.

  • Establish advanced failure isolation and analysis techniques through probing methodology and equipment.

  • Lead test interface definition, system level test interface.

  • Define and develop test methodology and reliability methodology in relation tools/solutions interface to accurately model performance targets, reliability targets and correlate results with simulation and post silicon.

  • Work closely with external suppliers for technical discussion, SOW definition, etc.

  • Review technical vendor capability to support development.

  • Work across boundaries with design team to define testability requirement such as DFX, DFM, etc

  • Define manufacturing capabilities future need with close collaboration with design handoff to testability/manufacturability of the product.

  • Strong understanding of product development needs from data analysis requirement, enablement, external data management (FTP from external (vendor/supplier)) into internal for AZURE development framework.

  • Strong Knowledge of industrial standards such as STIL and implementation of solutions/tools to enable scalability and adaptability to industrial EDA solutions.

  • Drive and adopt industrial standard in manufacturing tools/solutions/capabilities for easy translation both internal and external seamless without creation overhead for tester format conversion, convention, etc

  • Define and develop critical tool/Solutions/infrastructure capabilities in MSFT ensuring synergy with strategy industry partner collaboration and advancing silicon engineering functions (foundry/OSAT/ODM suppliers, component suppliers, equipment suppliers and Test services)

  • Define, develop and implement test method architecture that is standard/common to all test methods

  • strong data management, efficient storage, and analysis capabilities.

  • Extensive interaction with OSAT by enabling test program result and data requirements for qualification execution from manufacturing perspective.

  • Work closely with external suppliers for execution, SOW definition, etc.

  • Plan direct activities in engineering function to meet schedules, standards, and cost.
