Why This Role

The role is based in Penang, Malaysia.As the ideal candidate, you will program manage IP impact assessment within a committed timeline based on GF process development kit roadmap to ensure all developed or developing IPs are meeting quality requirements and customer’s IP usage experience is seamless when change occurs without incurring any or more investment.

What You Will Do

  • Program management/coordinating IP Impact Assessment within committed timeline

  • Assess and define IP Impact Assessment plan based on PDK update

  • Perform Physical verification DRC/LVS/DFM, PEX extraction and Spice simulation against predefined passing criteria and meeting committed cycle time

  • Consolidation and review of IP Assessment results

  • Support customer queries and resolve technical issues related to IP

  • Chair meeting / review with all stakeholders for impact seen on the IP and drive to closure

  • Architect and design new test suite for electrical assessment of various IP

  • Documentation of IP technical issues, waiver documents and assessment report

What You Will Need

  • Bachelor/master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics engineering or equivalent

  • Minimum 8 years working experience in IC design field

  • Knowledge of relevant Analog IC design and simulation tools (Spice or its equivalent)

  • Knowledge in IC process and layout design

  • Hands on experience in industry standard CAD tools

  • Experience in physical verification, drc/lvs/dfm is a plus

  • Experience in any scripting & automation languages is a plus

  • Good attention to detail, well organized and work well within a team environment

  • Good interpersonal skill, tactful, resourceful, possess initiative, good presentation skills

  • Able to work independently with good planning skills. Must be tasked oriented and deliver task with quality and committed to delivery
