We welcome you to join our Pharmaceuticals team in Singapore, as a Lead Piping Engineer. You will involve in the design stages, and responsible for the proper and timely execution in accordance with the control estimate and specific requirements of the project. Ensuring that the Global policies, are followed and managing the activities as assigned by Group Lead / DM. Main duties:
Ccarry out the design activity both in 2D & 3D design environment in meeting the project timeline
To prepare and check the Piping Design Basis, Scope of Work, Piping Philosophy, Basis for Flexibility Analysis, piping material specifications, selections (including coating, insulation, valves, and other piping related components and fittings) and various piping calculations
Verify and check the design done by others (including piping team and other disciplines)
Technical Bid Analysis of Vendor Offer, Vendor Drawing Review for Valves, Piping and other Components, Special Parts, Fittings,
Knowledge of Various International Standards Such as ASME, ASTM, API, BS, etc.
Knowledge of Stress Analysis with CAESAR (If can carry stress analysis will be a preferable candidate)
Familiar with Auto CAD, MicroStation, worked under 3D Environment (SP3D/E3D/PDS/PDMS)
Familiar with Design Review Software Smart Review/Navisworks
Familiar with preparation of 3D Modelling and Review procedures
Through knowledge of development, preparation and Checking of Piping Design Deliverables like Plot Plan, Piping General Arrangement, Isometrics, MTO, Supports, Tie-in List etc.
Co-ordinate all activity with other engineering disciplines stream for the projects
Co-ordinate with Client, Prepare Comment Resolution Sheet, track open points and ability to convince Client Engineer over technical issues
Ensure Quality Check and Implementation of Engineering Procedures
Fully responsible for all piping deliverables prepared under his /her leadership and meet the timeline agreed with project
Here’s What You’ll Need:
To be a successful candidate, you shall possess:
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Registered Professional Engineer/ Chartered Engineer would be an added advantage
Minimum of 15 years of experience in the industrial and pharmaceutical piping project
Experience working in an International Engineering Consultancy will be an added advantage
