Job Description

Your Impact:

Jacobs is a global provider of technical, professional, and scientific services including engineering, architecture, construction, operations and project management.  Our portfolio spans industrial, infrastructures, commercial, and government clients across multiple markets and geographies.  ForChangi Terminal 5 project,Jacobs provide project management services and assistChangi Airport Group (CAG)to manage the Programme and Schedule, Project Cost, Scope and Design Changes, Programme Risks, Interfacing, Workflow and Work Processes, Stakeholders, Site Planning and Resources Planning.

In addition, your primary responsibilities are as follows;

  • To identify, review, monitor and track all design and construction interfaces between projects

  • To facilitate and ensure all project interfaces are timely resolved at each stage of the entire life cycle of the project with the support of necessary tools like BIM, and so forth

  • Coordination and expediting technical interfaces between various packages of the project design team and construction team

  • Review design interface construction sequence, construction stages, interface duration and lead the Consultants to capture the interfaces agreement in the construction contract document.

  • Able to manage mega infrastructure projects from design stage to construction stage.

  • Lead the interface meetings and team to ensure the design Consultants to resolve and capture design interface requirements into the construction contract, prepare slides on the download session on key interface constraints and requirements upon award of construction contract.

  • Able to anticipate potential design and construction problems and take timely preventive action.

  • Able to foresee construction risks during the design stage and recommend mitigation measures to eliminate or reduced risks

  • To be responsible for overall project interface management in ensuring the quality, cost, statutory, safety and environment issues and project interfaces key dates scheduling requirements are met

  • Responsible for the overall delivery of the project interfaces , quality control, management reporting, risk planning etc

  • Any other duties and responsibilities as directed by CAG

Here's What You'll Need:

  • With a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

  • Significant number of years’ experience working in large scale civil and infrastructure engineering projects. 

  • Familiar infrastructure, roadworks,  drainage , utilities works and understanding of  authorities and agencies requirements .  

  • Proven experience with project interfaces management and coordination for aviation and mega infrastructure project internationally.

  • Demonstrate understanding the construction of a big building with a big basement; construction methods, the onsite factors, the sequencing, the interfaces that will arise.

  • Demonstrate ability to work in a fast-paced environment and to work pro-actively as part of a committed team

  • People management skills in the context of managing various stakeholders locally

  • With similar background/ industry,  worked in international team environment within SEA coupled with relevant experience with utilities and civil infrastructure projects.

  • Proven ability to apply sound judgment and analytical skills due to the complex and diversified nature of the position

  • Extensive skills in management and leadership, team building, effective communication, conflict resolution and presentations

  • Well versed with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
