What you will do
The HR Manager role is to cover the assigned business vertical as HRBP with a focus area to build the right capability to grow the business in the Philippines.
The role also supports the Country HR Manager to engage employees thru timely interventions and engagement activities.
How you will do it
Understands the various aspects of the business including products and services, competitors, financial reports, goals, strategies, and business development, to determine business needs.
Aligns the people-related strategies to business goals and objectives.
Acts as consultant to line management, providing HR guidance when appropriate.
Assists in designing and implementing human resource programs that builds organizational capability in order to deliver the expected business results.
Delivers value-added services to management and employees in support to increase business performance.
HR OPERATIONS MANAGEMENT / DELIVERY OF HR PROCESSES AND SERVICES
Provides timely and cost-effective delivery of HR programs and services.
Provides day-to-day performance management guidance to line management (e.g., coaching, counseling, career development, disciplinary actions).
Maintains in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
Partners with the legal department as needed/required.
Supports the Business Unit heads by providing reports, analysis and recommendations for continuous improvements.
Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
Counsel leaders/immediate leaders in alignment with PGC’s policies, practices, legal considerations and company priorities – advocating both the company and employee concerns.
ORGANIZATIONAL DESIGN INITIATIVES
Provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning and succession planning.
Partners with leaders/immediate leaders to assess organizational capabilities in alignment with business strategy.
Ensures effective organization structure, design and staffing models.
Assists in implementing regular talent and organizational reviews, career development planning, performance management and workforce planning.
Assists in identifying key functional and leadership talent to strengthen talent pipeline.
What we look for
Bachelor’s degree, with min of 7 years' experience in HR ideally with prior experience with rank and file employees who are minimum wage earners, daily paid, high school level
Demonstrable collaboration skill and influencing skills in leading and directing teams to achieve results.
Strong planning, communication, relationship building, presentation, project management, and organization skills.
Discernible skills in HR Business Partnering
