As part of this growing demand, we seek a Gas Turbine (GT) specialist to deliver innovative solutions to our clients. As part of an interconnected team, you will be focused on delivering services in the energy sector as a consultant and advisor for key project development and execution phases, including feasibility studies, conceptual design, project development services, technical due diligence, and project execution phases, as well as involvement in winning and delivering new projects across Asia.
As part of a dedicated, dynamic team, your responsibilities will include:
Carry out technical consulting assignments including feasibility studies, design reviews and due diligence studies.
Prepare engineering and technical specifications for projects
Provide technical guidance and expertise for gas turbine based projects
Manage projects to ensure delivery on-time, on-budget, and to quality agreed.
Assist the operations manager with general project issues.
Contribute to proposals and business development as required
Undertake site inspection activities as required
Correct any project deficiencies that affect quality and safety requirements before final evaluation and project reviews.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
The ideal candidate will posses
Mechanical or Chemical/Process engineering tertiary qualifications or equivalent
10 to 15 years’ experience in engineering environment, preferably power generation
5 plus years’ experience as a technical advisor for a GT OEM
Worked on one or more installation sites during construction and commissioning – preferably CCGT projects
Experience in the specification and tendering of GTs and ancillary equipment
Carried out major maintenance activities on a GT
Mix of industrial and aero GT experience
Looking for office based role but with opportunity for site based activities from time to time
