We are currently looking for a Finance Manager who will be responsible for identifying and resolving issues from compliance perspective, giving professional advice for business operations. The Finance Manager will supervise accounting services in the organization, line of business and other corporate functions of Jacobs Projects Philippines, Inc.

Other functions include but not limited to the following:

  • Manage GL, Tax and Statutory Compliances on its day-to-day activities.

  • Act as an expert in tax function. Review and guide team to issue and collect valid tax

  • documents including OR, 2306 form, 2307 form…etc. Provide guidance to team members for tax compliance request.

  • Complete periodical tax filing timely and accurately. Be responsible for communication with external tax service provider. Provide tax information recorded in GL Oracle and cash receipts to service provider. Review and approve tax returns on time.

  • Post tax related entries in Oracle. Reconcile GL balances in various tax accounts with amounts reported in tax returns for all tax types on monthly and quarterly basis.

  • Work with Jacobs tax team and external tax service provider for tax audit.

  • Implement controls to ensure tax compliance with BIR requirements.

  • Be responsible for annual financial audits. Coordinate with the auditors, legal, external

  • service provider and Jacobs’ teams in the conduct and resolution of statutory audit, internal audit, and government related audit activities.

  • Perform account reconciliations, review and analysis as part of the monthly, quarterly and annual Financial Close process. Ensure completeness and accuracy of journal entries at month end closing. Make sure balances on Balance Sheet are 100% supported by valid documents and approval.

  • Provide accurate and on-time financial reports in accordance with the Jacobs Group systems, policies and procedures, for group reporting purposes.

  • Manage local statutory reporting requirements for government regulatory agencies such as BIR, SSS, HDMF and LGU.

  • Ensure compliance with relevant rules and regulations with regards to external reporting – Finance, Taxation, Payroll, and other related business and commercial requirements.

Here's What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting or related major

  • CPA or equivalent highly preferred

  • 15 years of more working experience, with 8 years in taxation, audits and compliance

  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, team player and good interpersonal skills

  • Hands-on supervisor with a willingness to be involved in all aspects of the business

  • High energy with individual drive for success and deliver results

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize based on mission and values

  • Working knowledge of Oracle will be a plus
