Data Center Critical Facilities Engineer III

Job Summary

Applies acquired job skills to work on tasks that are semi-routine in nature. Focus is on semi-routine tasks within standard operating procedures. Supports the overall team.


Responsibilities
Facility/Infrastructure Maintenance

  • Performs site inspections and monitors the building and Data Center alarms

  • Performs preventative maintenance on site infrastructure (e.g. maintenance of primary infrastructures), or manages vendors

  • Undertakes repairs and corrective maintenance

  • Operates critical infrastructure under the supervision of more senior technical staff


Site Administration

  • Completion of site logs and data gathering issuing for basic permits, such as MOPs and scripts


Incident Management

  • Responds to all on-site incidents and acts as required


Work Orders

  • Completes routine work requests and circuit installations


Collaboration

  • Provides assistance during critical maintenance activities

  • Effectively collaborates within the department and provides input to peers for general maintenance activities


Additional Projects

  • Carries out basic infrastructure projects


Qualifications

  • A minimum of Higher Nitec or a Diploma in an Engineering field preferred

  • Fresh graduates can be considered
