About this Opportunity:

As we continue to innovate and grow, we are looking for a Business Development Manager to join our QLD Project team. This role will be responsible forsecuring sales growth of the Applied business with a focus on HVAC and Chillers.

The role will involve:

  • Developing short- and long-range sales plans and prepares sales strategies and submissions.

  • Calling on target organisations to identify profitable sales opportunities. 

  • Managing the preparation and submission of sales proposals.   

  • Influences tender requests to include Johnson Controls specified Applied Products and Systems/Solutions. 

  • Delivering assigned business plans achieving secured sales volume ($) and gross margin ($) vs Plan. 

  • Provides information to management regarding the Applied industry and recommends plans to maximise future business in line with the Applied growth strategy.

  • Fosters strong relationships with all Customers and provides sales and technical support to Contractors, Consultants and End-Users in order to maximize solution sales and customer satisfaction. 

  • Generates forecast for sales secured, delivery, collection, sales backlog, inventory management and any other sales related issues at all times.

Who we are looking for:

  • Bachelors’ Degree or above, preferably in Engineering.

  • 5 - 10+ years working experience in sales, ideally Applied Business.

  • Proven Sales ability including year-on-year growth.

  • Ability to communicate both internally and externally at all levels.

  • Experience working with Consultant, Owners, main Contractors and other key Stakeholders within the Building and Commercial Industry.
