Job Description

Role Overview:

As a Business Analysis Senior Analyst, you will contribute to project deliverables under guidance from senior business analyst, including adherence to Avanade corporate standards, learning BA techniques and processes, and supporting the identification and communication of risks and issues that may require changes to project plans or scope. Additionally, you will support identification and maintenance of stakeholder relationships including, business partners, users, vendors, customers, project team members, and management leaders (internal & external).

Key Role Responsibilities:

  • Assist in stakeholder management activities, including identification, classification, mapping, and relationship development.

  • Review and understand standards for delivery and is able to apply this knowledge to complete tasks on schedule, within budget and with quality.

  • Perform scribe activities, demonstrating good listening and written communication skills.

  • Participate in peer review discussions, is able to translate peer review lessons learned into own work product and collaborates with peers to bring quality to the project.

  • Under guidance from senior leadership, learns to map documentation efforts to business needs that are driven down from business case, business / project scope and task assignments.

  • Focus on the acquisition of knowledge, skills and experience in all BA areas of competency under the guidance of senior resources.

  • Participate in the transfer of functional requirements to development and test team members.

  • Participate in test execution of delivered requirements.

  • Passionate about IT projects and learning new technologies

Preferred Education Background:

·You likely possess a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or have an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Preferred Years of Work Experience:

·You likely have 4 years of related professional experience.
