As one of Singapore's Best Employers 2023, we would like to welcome an Assistant Project Manager to join our Asia Environmental Solutions team in Singapore. Main duties:
Working alongside Project Manager on managing Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) and/or Environmental Management and Monitoring Plan (EMMP) of large terrestrial/ coastal/ marine infrastructure projects.
Business development for EIA/EMMP, Pollution Control study (PCS), and individual air/noise-specific consultancy projects in Singapore and other Southeast Asia.
Coordinate with the Client, contractor, sub-consultants, engineering team, and environmental team members to smooth the information exchange and workflow.
Working with PM on overall EIA/EMMP report compilation and providing initial check and review
Presenting technical reports to The Client and local Government agencies. Liaise with Local Authorities on acceptance of the EIA/EMMP report.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
To be a successful candidate you shall possess:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Environment or related engineering/science discipline
Minimum of 6 years of experience in managing EIA/EMMP projects in Singapore
Strong communication skills and ability to guide a team of technical professionals to complete tasks
Good presentation skills and strong report-writing skills
Good interpersonal skills as lead consultant liaising with Local Authorities and Project Stakeholders
Knowledge of Singapore legal and authorities’ requirements for EIA, EMMP, and Pollution Control requirements
EIA Knowledge or project experience on IFC/Work Bank Framework/Strategy will be an added advantage
Past experience related to hydrology assessment, water quality modeling, environmental site assessment, air and noise modeling and assessment will be added advantage
Moderate to high competence in using GIS software will be an added advantage
Registered Environmental Control Officer will be an added advantage
