Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors and/or skilled, support individual contributors. Acts as guide to unit or sub-units and may become actively involved, as the need arises, to meet schedules and resolve problems.
Ensures the team is caring out responsibilities in a timely manner and projects are progressing, as encouraged
Manages personnel details including salaries, positioning, reviews, mentoring and development
Assists with testing and coordinating projects and maintenance activities
Project / Infrastructure Site Management
Plans, coordinates, budgets, and implements resources to complete required activities within the data centers. Develops and manages routine operational plans. Meets targets typically against a monthly plan.
Provides input and guidance towards budget
Overall site capacity supervision
Oversees contractor work and operations to ensure completion to Equinix's required standards
Assists with start up tests, documenting and reporting all problems
Communicates and coordinates activities and on-site staff during an incident
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in a Data Center environment preferred
Bachelor’s degree in an Engineering/IT field or equivalent work experience
