Job Description

​Cognizant is looking for a full-time ArcGIS Developer, and the role comes with an attractive salary and benefits package.

As an ArcGIS Developer, you will have extensive experience in data migration and in leading product upgrade projects. You will also be able to explore working arrangements with Cognizant as part of our client's inclusive team.

In your first few weeks in this ArcGIS Developer role, you can expect to:

  • Have client interaction and with the team

  • Develop an understanding of client requirements

  • Work on data migration and product upgrade projects

  • Work as a GIS subject matter expert in setting up a vision for GIS practice.

To apply for this ArcGIS Developer role, your soft skills, expertise and experience should include:

  • Experience in Spatial DB design querying databases

  • Understanding of database queries with PL/SQL, SQL, and Oracle

  • In-depth knowledge of RDBMS, geodatabase design, multiuser editing and ArcSDE Administration.
