The CO+I, Datacenter business is looking to fill role of APAC Supplier Quality Director. The CO+I Supply Chain organization is responsible for delivering Datacenter Procurement for Microsoft’s cloud business. We have a portfolio of complex, multi-disciplinary suppliers providing infrastructure comprised of a large global portfolio of more than 100 datacenters and 1 million servers. Our foundation is built upon and managed by a team of subject matter experts working to support equipment and services for more than 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries worldwide.

Qualifications
Qualifications:
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline is required.
Demonstrated leadership experience working with suppliers across APAC region, with a deep understanding of cultural differences and business practices
10+ years of experience in Quality, Supplier Quality, Reliability, or related organization, with at least 5 years in a leadership role
Knowledge of quality management systems such as ISO 9001 and related standards
Ability to travel across the APAC region as needed
Basic Qualifications
8+ years of experience in business, Supply Chain, process improvement or related organization.
Supplier Quality processes, Auditing, or inspection of hardware experience
Technical knowledge, ideally with experience in multiple sectors and industries
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain Management, engineering, or related discipline is required.
Experience with manufacturing environments, technical specifications
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field AND 10+ year(s) experience in supply planning, operations, supply chain, indirect supply planning, technology-related supply chain, sourcing and manufacturing, or related experience
OR Master's Degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Supply Chain Analytics, or related field
OR equivalent experience.
Ability to lead technical investigation and assign effective & practical action plan, Root Cause Analysis Incident Investigation Training
Infrastructure equipment operational and technical experience
Ability to drive review of Failure Mode, Effects and Analysis (FMEA) experience
Strong communication, organization, troubleshooting, analytical and multi-tasking skills; especially when under pressure
Strong technical communication and presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage large scale change and influence in a matrixed organization.
Ability to drive service quality & reliability KPIs
Ability to collaborate with others and have good team building skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet milestones and deadlines
Provide cross functional communication and training for supplier management procedures and processes and monitor adherence
Develops positive relationships and collaborates closely with Engineering, Sourcing, Product Lines, and Suppliers to implement an effective program and address issues
Establishes goals/objectives and performance metrics for the Supplier Quality functions
Ensures products are supplied in compliance with customer and regulatory requirements
Ability to interpret engineering specifications, technical procedures and specifications
Ability to make presentations to multi-disciplined groups (including internal and external), run effective workshops and produce reports / documentation
Demonstrated abilities related to problem-solving, decision-making, judgement, leadership, and team-oriented skills in order to manage multiple projects
Demonstrated collaboration, negotiation and conflict resolution skills with suppliers
Ability to coordinate with customers, suppliers, and third party auditors
These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Responsibilities
Ensures the effective implementation of the supplier quality management program, accelerates the improvement of quality, equipment, and services from our supplier manufacturing locations across the region.
Focuses on proactively ensuring our suppliers meet technical requirements as defined by our engineering organization.
Establishes relationships by building trust with internal & external stakeholders, works in collaboration with cross-functional teams and develops/executes strategies which meet business outcomes across the region.
Drives development and culture within regional leadership team focused on a “back to basics” strategy that ensures the sustainable development of strategic quality for suppliers of critical equipment deployed in region and across the globe.
Serves as the APAC regional point of contact for supplier quality issues and is a representative in supplier quality forums.
