Job Summary
The Accountant uses professional expertise while resolving a variety of accounting matters within a moderate scope. Performs monthly accounting close activities focused on less risky and moderately complicated countries.
Responsibilities
Prepare and post journal entries and reconciliations
Prepares month end management reporting
Investigate discrepancies quickly and efficiently
Identify and/or participate in departmental and organizational process improvement efforts
Support the partnership with upstream data owners, internal and external auditors, and Global Process Manager to solve a variety of accounting matters
Participate in project work
Notify Manager of any irregularities noticed in payments/refunds or coding
Apply general accounting principles when accounting for transactions
Additional duties assigned to support the accounting department needs
Qualifications
2+ years experience preferred
Bachelor's degree preferred
