Social Media Marketer - Growth Markets

The Growth Markets (GM) social media area marketer is responsible for owning the strategy and execution of Area/country-level social media activity with the goal of increasing brand awareness, driving target stakeholder engagement, and positioning Avanade as the leading Microsoft expert in the market.

A key part of this role is working with the GM leadership team and GM Marketing professionals, providing best practice guidance and implementation support for social media activity, ensuring that it is activated in a coordinated and consistent way, reflecting the global strategy and practices, to maximize impact and results.Together we do what matters.

What you’ll do

  • Coordinating with the area priorities, social media needs, plans, and objectives, ensuring alignment with the global social media Center of Excellence strategy and guidelines.The GM Social Media Marketer will support to manage the area’s social media strategy, providing regional stakeholders with guidance, feedback, and support on their social media activities and campaigns. To ensure that the regional social media teams are aligned with the global social media strategy and guidelines.

  • Share thought leadership and perspective around best-in-class social trends, ideas, and strategy by researching social media trends and keeping the GM Marketing team up to date on changes.Evangelize social best practices to cross-functional teams and stakeholders, internally and externally.

  • Manage day-to-day area social media presence on strategic social platforms.Working with the GM Marketing Lead and the area internal/external communications lead, to be responsible for creating timely content in support of local news events, activities and other timely opportunities to transmit Avanade’s voice/insights/thought leadership etc. across the GM social media platforms, also to be responsible for managing content and reporting for our employee advocacy and social promotion tool.

  • Monitoring the performance and reputation of the brand on social media platforms, using data and analytics to measure the impact and ROI of the regional social media efforts.To monitor the performance and reputation of the brand on social media platforms, using data and analytics to measure the impact and ROI of the regional social media efforts. 

  • Implement the quality and compliance standards for social media content, ensuring that all posts are accurate, relevant, engaging, and aligned with the brand voice and tone.To enforce the quality and compliance standards for social media content. 

  • Social Media Listening:To be responsible for social media listening, which involves monitoring social media channels for mentions of the brand, its products, and its competitors. To use social media listening tools to track conversations and identify trends, insights, and opportunities. 

Skills and experience

•Experienced in social media marketing, preferably in the APAC / Australia region

•Experienced in social media campaigns and content calendars, at least 1-2 years relevant experience. 

•Strong understanding of social media marketing tools and techniques.

•Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

•Strong organizational and project management skills.

•Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
