Job Description
Job Responsibility
Create ServiceNow solutions for an organisation using JavaScript, Web Services, MYSQL, and CSS
Develop and troubleshoot ServiceNow applications.
Integrate ServiceNow applications with other programs.
Analyse technical development requirements
Provide documentation and reports of the analyses.
Identify any deficiencies within the applications and provide solutions for them.
Deploy solutions in a test environment.
Analyse system performance issues
Provide expertise for all technical issues related to development.
Configure and create custom workflows.
Perform code reviews to ensure that the quality standards are being met
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of direct experience as a ServiceNow Developer/Consultant.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science or related field or equivalent
Experience configuring core ServiceNow modules including ITSM configurations, Service Catalogue, Integrations, Application Development & Maintenance, Flow Designer, Integration Hub, Metrics, and Dashboards.
Experience with Advanced scripting, Performance Analytics, Reporting and other use case areas are desirable.
Strong understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban
Ability to draft & document test plans for both a technical and business user audience.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision while delivering results.
Excellent demonstrable written and verbal communications skill
Demonstrated understanding of ITIL processes, operations, and procedures.
Overarching understanding of ServiceNow Enterprise product suite.
Knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, desirable.
Extensive Knowledge of JavaScript and HTML/CSS
Strong understanding of regional databases such as MYSQL and SQL
Experience in API integrations with other systems
Strong troubleshooting skills
Good mathematical and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively.
Ability to work independently.
Ensuring quality of code via the writing of tests
Documentation of processes, code, and decisions made.
Participating in technical/architectural design Qualifications
Certification(s):
ServiceNow System Admin Certification required.
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist- ITSM required.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer required.
ITIL Certification would be a plus.
