Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The Senior Accountant will play a crucial role in managing and ensuring the accuracy of our Prepaids, PO Accruals, Intercompany Transaction accounting , contributing to financial reporting. The Senior Accountant uses experienced professional accountant knowledge to resolve diverse accounting matters. Performs monthly accounting close activities focused on more risky and complicated countries.

Responsibilities

  • Prepares and posts journal entries in Prepaids, PO Accruals, Intercompany areas.

  • Review entries posted by  team members  to ensure transactions are correctly classified and coded.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to validate reclasses or accrual requests

  • Prepare and Review Global Balance sheet recons.

  • Assist in preparing documentation for  SOX related to tasks

  • Assist in ensuring compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

  • Participate in the execution of internal controls related to General accounting.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including Procurement, AP, AR, FP &A , and Reporting to gather relevant information.

  • Collaborate with auditors during internal and external audits.

  • Identify opportunities to enhance accounting processes and recommend improvements.

  • Support special projects and initiatives as assigned by management.

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with accounting and Month End Close process is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.

  • Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.

  • Experience in oracle cloud accounting software is a Plus
