Revenue Accountant

  • Conduct meticulous reviews of customer contracts to determine revenue recognition in compliance with ASC 606 standards. Prepare detailed accounting memos and write-ups to document the revenue accounting treatment accurately.

  • Execute thorough accounting analyses and process journal entries for bad debt, sales allowances, and other revenue-related financial activities, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

  • Perform reconciliations of revenue-related general ledger accounts, proactively investigate discrepancies, and implement resolutions to address any variances.

  • Execute SOX controls rigorously and always maintains unwavering compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act regulations.

  • Compile a comprehensive month-end management reporting package, highlighting fluctuations in bad debt and revenue reserves, and providing insightful commentary on revenue accounting issues.

  • Prepare ASC 606 financial disclosures for inclusion in SEC filings, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and regulatory compliance.

  • Calculate and apply ASC 606 revenue adjustments on a quarterly basis, ensuring financial statements accurately reflect the company's revenue position.

  • Provide robust support for both external and internal audit processes, including the preparation of detailed working papers for auditors and the analysis of complex data sets.

  • Engage in special projects on an as-needed basis, applying analytical skills and accounting expertise to support strategic initiatives and resolve ad hoc challenges.


  • Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting complemented by a minimum of two years of hands-on accounting experience

  • Good understanding of U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP) is preferred and prior experience in revenue accounting is a plus

  • Exhibit strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail

  • Proficiency with Oracle Cloud, Hyperion, and RevPro revenue management tool is preferred

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and SharePoint)

  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
