Information Request Associate

Job Summary

The Information Request (IR) Team is responsible for managing, supporting, and coordinating, complete activities for the pre-sales information request process flow in response to customer and prospect requests for Field and Hyperscale sales teams.

Team Focus Scope

  • Manages the engagement with Sales and cross-functional resources to obtain all relevant information in support of the information request work type.

  • Partners with Sales and SMEs to ensure accurate, consistent, high-quality information and standard documentation are released to customers and prospects while managing risks of the feasibility of the content confidentiality/compliance that can be published. 

  • Develops, and inputs into the multiple repositories of information pertinent to Equinix’s products and services into the information repository systems, allowing Sales to utilize it for self-service purposes, as and when appropriate.      

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with sales team to close a deal by providing requested information to the customer or prospect

  • Supports sales with Self Service information request

  • Follow-up and complete Data Center Ops prequalification questionnaires related to an opportunity closure or to accompany a quotation

  • Follow-up on exiting customers’ expansions/renewals opportunity

  • Chairs and supports the Business Review Process

  • Supports quality control and procedures. Includes basic Audit on-site prior to contract signature

  • Proofreads written contributions of others and exercise copy-writing processes, where appropriate. This includes ensuring consistency across the documentation in style, format, and language to align with company branding

  • Organizes the assembly and production of final documents (incl. printing and binding hard copies, USB, and ordering courier or for electronic submission on e-portals, or email submission)

  • Global Public sector/Government Framework (non-federal) to procure future/current services from accredited suppliers/Equinix - Monitors and downloads/uploads information from/to e-tendering portals

Qualifications

  • 0 - 3 Years Experiences with minimum Bachelor Degree Qualifications

  • Demonstrating excellent written communication skills (English is a must) as a liaison with external and internal teams in a timely and professional manner

  • Sound judgement and the ability to think quickly during high demands/short turnaround

  • Analytical, with excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to work well as part of an open and collaborative team

  • Manage activities in a timely manner, maintaining timelines and completing all responsibilities

  • Some experience in managing multiple data sets tools and technologies

  • Experience in Cross-functional engagement to achieve the best information outcome
