Lunar New Year 2021, Career & Wellness Tips

Let us welcome the Chinese New Year of the Metal Ox with hope for new beginnings and good cheer overall! By now, it is almost customary to check our fortunes each year to get a better glimpse of what we can expect in the days and months ahead.

We have done some digging to find out what's in store for each zodiac sign when it comes to their health and their luck in the job market.

Rat (Born in 1960, 1972, 1984, 1996, 2008)

Known to be: alert, persuasive, charming, and smart

Those born under the year of the Rat will find recognition for their hard work. Keep up the pace and you might just be rewarded with a promotion, especially if you are an employee. Business owners, however, may not see a lot of growth in their business.

Also, pay attention to your digestive system and complement this with a healthy lifestyle and diet. Those born in the year of the Rat will need to learn how to manage their stress this year by taking long walks or socializing more.

Ox (Born in 1961, 1973, 1985, 1997, 2009)

Known to be: kind, persistent, faithful, and conservative

It's a quiet year for those born under the Ox, no mishaps or windfalls to expect. But if you're seeking employment, you'll be facing a lot of competition. Take the time to learn something new and upgrade your work skills and competencies.

As for your health, keep away serious illness by having a calm and positive attitude. The older Oxen are susceptible to old illnesses so they should try to undergo physical examinations and checkups while maintaining an active lifestyle.

Tiger (Born in 1962, 1974, 1986, 1998, 2010)

Known to be: powerful, emotional, confident, and intense

For those born under the year of the Tiger, this year's Metal Ox will serve as your support for taking the next big step of your life. Whether you're getting married, moving, or considering a new career, 2021 is the year to do it.

Tigers will also find their inner discipline this year when it comes to reforming their bad habits such as smoking. Even for those who are suffering from medical conditions, their health will take a turn for the better. Us this health to execute your loftier ambitions

Rabbit (Born in 1963, 1975, 1987, 1999, 2011)

Known to be: polite, generous, popular, and sincere

2021 will shower those under the year of the Rabbit with financial prosperity but it won't be coming in the form of a promotion. Good news for job hunters as well since you'll not only find some high-paying roles but also have little problem getting them, too.

Protect the good energy this year by staying out of any conflicts and drama. This extends to filing lawsuits and any legal battles. It's best to lie low with these challenges. You're better off facing them another time.

Dragon (Born in 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000, 2012)

Known to be: ambitious, fearless, warm-hearted, and charismatic

It's meant to be a profitable year for those born under the year of the Dragon. Your career or investments will yield great fruit but be careful not to let this overwhelm you. Avoid the temptations of greed and be content with what comes your way.

You're in for an emotional rollercoaster ride so be wary of burnout, especially since you'll feel more agitated than usual. In those moments, try to think before you speak to avoid saying things you don't mean and hurting your relationships in the process.

Snake (Born in 1965, 1977, 1989, 2001, 2013)

Known to be: funny, introverted, generous, and wise

2021 shines an opportunity for profit and prosperity for the Snake. If you need a bit of help in uncovering your potential riches, friends born under the sign of the Ox can provide some insight and maybe even a bit of luck.

Your health is fairly stable so you don't need to worry about any sudden illnesses. Basically, it's not good but it's also not bad. This could be a great time to take a vacation from both working and playing hard, so simply take a backseat and relax this year.

Horse (Born in 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002, 2014)

Known to be: energetic, independent, impatient, and outspoken

Those under the sign of the Horse can see 2021 as their most socially charged year. You're set to meet a wide variety of personalities who have taken some interest in your character. It's the best chance to network and build up your reputation.

Bring that confidence to your other hobbies as well. You'll find yourself trying out things you've never thought of doing before. However, don't expect a significant rise in your income; it's all about setting the foundation for success.

Goat (Born in 1967, 1979, 1991, 2003, 2015)

Known to be: mild-mannered, shy, hardworking, and soft-hearted

If you're born under the year of the Sheep and have been waiting for a sign, then you'll get it this 2021. You'll stumble upon several creative ideas and display moments of wisdom as you actualize all those side projects and business ideas that have yet to be fully fleshed out.

For a clean bill of health, all you need to do is exercise and keep a healthy diet and lifestyle. Younger Sheep are recommended to take vitamins to fortify their health while the older ones should get their yearly checkups to be sure.

Monkey (Born in 1968, 1980, 1992, 2004, 2016)

Known to be: fun, adaptable, positive, and active

Career-wise, those under the sign of the Monkey won't be seeing as much fortune without the help of others. You should try to take advice from the people around you at work and be open to suggestions from your own subordinates.

Your health this year is also cleared of any major afflictions but don't let your guard down. You have to maintain a nutritious diet and exercise regularly. Particularly stay far from fad diets and regimens and keep things simple.

Rooster (Born in 1969, 1981, 1993, 2005, 2017)

Known to be: independent, practical, hard-working, and observant

Those under the sign of the Rooster will find their luck in their friends and community. This is the year for you to reach out to friends whom you may have lost touch with. Still, keep gatherings small considering the current global situation.

Social connections will also affect your career. Former coworkers and contacts may be the network you need to unravel a surprising career opportunity. Find the chance to talk about the good, old times.

Dog (Born in 1970, 1982, 1994, 2006, 2018)

Known to be: patient, diligent, generous, and faithful

It's smooth-sailing for those under the sign of the Dog this year. It'll be uneventful at the workplace and almost empty of both hardship and, unfortunately, additional profit. In the meantime, you could save up and avoid any large purchases.

Your health is only average this year. There's emphasis on workers and students to balance their time and avoid working too late into the night. For added safety outside the home, young and old Dogs are encouraged to step out together to protect each other.

Pig (Born in 1971, 1983, 1995, 2007, 2019)

Known to be: loving, good-tempered, kind, and appreciative of luxury

Those born in the year of the Pig will be given the chance to undertake a huge responsibility. There's profit to be had but the Pig should learn to reflect whether they can take the pressure or not. Career progression can happen in other ways so take the time to assess your capabilities.

In terms of health, you may want to be cautious of your gut. It's fun to indulge but your favorite foods may cause you to experience an increase in digestive issues. Eat healthy for a happy gut!

What did the stars have in store for you? No matter the prediction you got, 2021 is another chance for many possibilities. Just be cautious of where you want to spend your energies and you'll be all set for the Year of the Metal Ox!
