Oracle Women’s Leadership Support Top-Performing Leaders
Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL) sponsored keynote speaker Carla Harris of Morgan Stanley at the 2017 Linkage Women in Leadership Institute™ in Dallas. Over 35 women from Oracle attended last week’s event and had the opportunity to network with other women, including some of the most recognized thought leaders in business. The event is designed to engage and inspire executive-level women leaders and grow their leadership abilities.
OWL is a leadership and professional development program for current and emerging women leaders at Oracle. OWL offers both men and women employees the opportunity to enhance their skills and develop their leadership potential through workshops, conferences, mentoring, networking events and more. Founded in 2006, OWL recognizes the value of networking. The group regularly hosts and sponsors global leadership development events throughout the year. OWL engages more than 7,000 employees in over 40 countries that represent over 70 OWL communities.
OWL offers both men and women employees the opportunity to enhance their skills and develop their leadership potential through workshops, conferences, mentoring, networking events and more.
At this year’s Global Summit for Women held in July, OWL hosted hundreds of top-performing women leaders from around the world. Oracle CEO Mark Hurd was invited as a special guest to help kick-off the event. Hurd spoke about the importance of OWL and workplace diversity as a part of Oracle’s growth strategy. He also highlighted Oracle’s commitment to being among the best customer-facing enterprises in the world.
