Ready, Set, Re-launch: Navigating your career into the Technology Industry

Hong Zhu joined Equinix five year ago as a Field Engineer. Since then, she has moved across different roles from Field Engineer, Sales Transaction Coordinator to now a Senior Sales Engineer. Hong is also a member of the EquinixWomen Leadership Network. She believes in the power of diversity where different perspectives will deliver solutions that will better serve customers. Hong Zhu graduates with a Master of Engineering from University of New South Wales, Australia.

Jennifer joined us in 2010 as an implementation engineer and have since moved up the ranks to become our first female Data Center Manager in 2017. Currently, she manages a team of 50 engineers/technicians to deliver 99.9999 operating standards. Outside work, she is a mother to 4 teenage children while maintaining her enthusiasm for cooking, rollerblading, cycling and recently muay thai. She is always looking out for a new challenge as she believes age is just a number! 

Bringing along her wealth of experience from the banking industry, Kay leads the Equinix UX team on an impactful project to redesign and transform user experience for our customers. Kay graduated from Singapore Management University with a Bachelor of Science, Information Systems Management and a second major in Accountancy. Outside of professional life, Kay likes to play badminton and is currently picking up Spanish on Duolingo in her spare time.  

Sabrina Ho is the Founder and CEO of half the sky - Asia’s leading career platform for women. She is on a mission to provide every woman the tools to build a successful career and navigate the future of work. 

After more than a decade working in the recruitment industry across the Asia Pacific, Sabrina witnessed first-hand the discriminatory practices that women face in their careers. Born in Hong Kong and residing in Singapore for over a decade, she is a sought-after speaker on diversity, future of work and leadership and she has been interviewed and featured on Linkedin, Channel News Asia, MONEY FM 89.3, Singapore Tatler, ICON, The Peak, Singapore Women’s Weekly Magazine, ELLE Magazine, The New Paper, Prestige, Robb Report and Buro.Singapore and she is also a contributor for several leading media outlets on gender diversity and future of work topic.
