Business Function

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels.


Workforce & Location Strategy Program Management and Support

  • Drive and deliver the objectives for Technology Workforce & Location Strategy across all Tech Units / LOBTs and geographical areas under the TACO 3.0 program
  • Ability to manage a team and work in a cross-functional setup with other key stakeholders such as LOBTs, HR, Finance, GPS, Legal & Compliance, etc., as well as independently in a consultative project management role
  • Support the implementation and usage of various management / MIS tools as part of a broader capacity & productivity management program across all 6 key locations, and across all functions
  • Co-ordinate TACO and Tech COO management/cross function meetings at both strategic (e.g. Steering Committee) and tactical (e.g. Working Group) levels, including designing agenda and materials required

Technology Resource Management and Financials Reporting

  • Monthly reporting of Technology resources and financials related to perm headcounts, contractors and vendor resources
  • Preparation of periodic and ad-hoc presentations to senior management
  • Partner with key stakeholders to ensure that reports are on-time, standard and fit-for-purpose
  • Provide BAU oversight and/or support of Technology annual planning & on-going management of HC, seats, costs, productivity saves, etc. across all Tech units and locations
  • Syndicate new report rollouts including setup of report definitions and submission template maintenance

Other Transformation and Improvement Initiatives

  • End-to-end management of transformation initiatives from the initialization phase (business case) to the execution phase (setup, status update, tracking and implementation)
  • Liaise with business partners and support units to drive the relevant quality/process improvements in the MIS; identifying problem statement, ring-fence issues, identify benefits and derive approach
  • Provide data analytics support, integrated reporting and regular actionable insights
  • Ensure up-to-date documentation and maintenance of all MIS related requirements, definitions, processes, templates and data
  • Provide support for other related initiatives within Tech COO as required


  • Degree holder with minimum 10-yr of working experience, and relevant experience in program management of strategic initiatives in a financial institution
  • Display strong drive and initiative to explore solutions and able to think out-of-the-box
  • Demonstrate ability to work independently and manage teams and initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Meticulous and hands-on, yet able to synthesize, summarize and present issues for senior management decision-making
  • Must be analytical, solution oriented, and be able to manage multiple and competing priorities; able to multi-task and take on different types of roles and activities at the same time, whilst able to track and stick to timelines diligently
  • Proficient with Office365 tools, especially PowerPoint for presentations and Excel for data analysis
  • Great interpersonal and negotiation skills with ability to interface with working level as well as senior leaders to develop win-win solutions
