Business Function 

Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels. 

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the Regional Channel Registration & Maintenance process and change management for all core markets and international centres operations
  • Prioritize and drive regional corporate electronic channel customer registration and maintenance digitization initiatives, standardization of process/policy/system/data to enhance productivity, quality and controls.
  • Lead the team in handling E2E project management, implementation and operationalization, oversee the DDOM dashboards, tracking the key success matrix to achieve vision of IBG operations
  • Work closely with Technology and other stakeholders on digitization solution using latest Technology such as Workflows, OCR, API, AI, Web services to drive next gen operations transformation
  • Quantify and document challenges, forecast benefits from various strategic opportunities, conceptualize findings & key points into comprehensive professional presentations for regular updates to identified forums
  • Review risk events/audit findings in processes and solution mitigating controls to minimize/eliminate risks
  • Develop training materials, collate best practices learning and conduct training to locations regionally
  • Manage project budget and MIS reporting

Requirements

  • Degree Holder with minimum 8-10 years of total project experience with min 3-5 year experience in banking project teams
  • Good understanding of banking terminology, digital channel management, products and operational processes
  • Excellent Project Management skills. Independent, meticulous with ability to slice and dice problem, structure his/her work, be creative and think out-of-the-box
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to conceptualize ideas / processes into professional MS PowerPoint slides
  • Candidate who has knowledge electronic channel operations, related Operation processes and technology is a plus
  • Knowledge in DBS IDEAL system is a plus
