The Third Party Management (“BAO Support”) is a dedicated role as part of Citi’s Third Party Risk Management program.  The BAO Support will dedicate the majority of their time focusing on ensuring effective risk management practices are in place for all external third party relationships to ensure compliance and governance risks are tracked and managed effectively for Citi’s businesses.

The BAO Support requires in depth knowledge of Citi's Third Party Risk Management expertise and will provide risk management to all third party relationships.  The BAO Support will assist the BAO in ongoing monitoring due diligence work and work in concert with business operations and technology teams, as well as internal functions, to identify, manage and mitigate risk. 

The BAO Support will be supported by the Enterprise Supply Chain Third Party Utility which is responsible for the execution of standard third party risk management activities that can be conducted centrally to drive operational efficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor end to end supplier performance and control

  • Coordinate & document Third Party Risk Management / Governance activities

  • Verify third party’s compliance to required policies and controls

  • Complete initial Risk Assessment for third party and re-evaluate as required

  • Develop, document and update documents/requirements as per TPM’s Pre-Contract and On-Going Monitoring requirements

  • Own remediation of issues or gaps identified as part of ongoing monitoring

  • Serve as point of contact to ensure that third party’s remediation of audit or exam issues is sufficient, and escalate as necessary

  • Assist in day to day monitoring of third parties/suppliers especially on third parties which carry risk for Citi’s businesses

  • Ensure relationships are compliant with the Third Party Management Policy and Standards

  • Ensure services are provided by the third party are in line with contract/SOW terms and assist in resolving any issues with services provided by third party

  • Performance and policy compliance are properly escalated and resolved

Qualifications:

  • Preferred Candidate with at least 5+ years of relevant experience in Outsourcing, Vendor management, Supply Chain Management, risk management and/or regulatory compliance in one or more of the following risk disciplines

  • Self motivated with excellent communication skills

  • Demonstrates understanding of operational capabilities of suppliers across applicable business types

  • Candidate has good exposure to Citi’s regional / Country/ Sector risk management teams and a high level understanding of interactions between those teams  

  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple deliverables while working with minimal supervision in a large, global corporate environment

  • Good Excel expertise including demonstrated capabilities with pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, and formulas

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree/University degree or equivalent experience
