Job Description
IBM is in a look out for for a Software Client Leader (SCL) based in Singapore, responsible for selling of IBM Software solutions to Key Accounts in our Cloud & Cognitive market.
The role of the Software Client Leader (SCL) will be to:
- Provide overall IBM Software account sales leadership
- Develop and maintain relationships with the highest levels of customer management across executive, line of business, IT, and procurement
- Articulate IBM Software strategy and solutions as a means to deliver business value in support of the client’s strategy and direction
- Develop and close the multi-brand, complex opportunities including planning and leading negotiations with customer management and procurement
- Maintain and orchestrate detailed account-specific plans and strategies, and ensure accuracy in forecasting and opportunity management
- In addition, to fully harness the power of team IBM, the SCL will engage and co-ordinate closely with IBM Account team and the extended IBM Business Unit teams.
- It is expected that the successful candidate will have the following attributes:
- Knowledge of the public and banking industry, and a proven track record of successful software sales experience with major clients
- Credible presence in front of senior executives, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of IBM industry and software solution offerings, and the ability to position these with executives and key partners
- Commercially minded and capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements including contract negotiation with the ability to think, plan and act strategically
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
- 5-8 years of software sales experience and 10 years of overall sales experience with proven track record of achieving sales targets.
- Preference of Technical knowledge
- Knowledge of the Public and/or Banking Industry, and a proven track record of successful software sales experience with major Enterprise clients
- Credible presence in front of senior executives, with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Knowledge of IBM industry and software solution offerings, and the ability to position these with executives and key partners
- Commercially minded and capable of supporting end-to-end sales engagements including contract negotiation with the ability to think, plan and act strategically
