What You’ll Do

As the region marketing lead, you will lead the strategy and execution for APJC CX marketing in collaboration with APJC CX, APJC Service Sales and APJC Growth Marketing ultimately to accelerate demand and drive CX growth. You will align global marketing initiatives to deliver local customer and partner relevance, engagement, and results. You will build out APJC field-led demand campaigns designed to protect and grow the highly strategic existing revenue within the APJC region. And you will integrate CX into APJC Growth Marketing platforms, programs, and campaigns. In this leadership role you will drive consistent activation and execution across APJC – using a common global CX Marketing blueprint, programs & campaigns from the CX marketing team.

More specifically, in this role you will drive

Innovative Marketing - You lead, manage and develop an exceptional team combining digital and agile marketing practices that increase our efficiency and improve our ability to directly impact sales. You lead with an external orientation with a center on customer, partner, and market-in. You inspire innovation and create a team culture of it. Leverage innovative marketing approaches such as automation and programmatic capabilities in an environment of testing and optimization. Be agile in a fast-changing, resource-constrained environment.
Digital Customer Engagement - You partner with PR, media, social and omni-channel to optimize communications and digital customer and partner engagement in APJC in order for CX to optimize live and digital engagements. You incubate CX event experiences and build ongoing engagement journeys with our key audiences in APJC.
Building Strategic Relationships – You communicate effectively to influence and establish impactful relationships with business partners including: Region CX, Service Sales, and Partner leaders, SLT, peers, customers, partners, influencers and vendors. You build trusted relationships across Marketing, Sales, and Partners to deliver a full marketing portfolio and clearly demonstrate ROI.
Business Mindset – You lead the team through the transformation Cisco is driving from Products to Services with Recurring Revenue. Use strong business and technical knowledge to find opportunities to drive aggressive business growth and deliver Marketing return on investment.
Experienced People and Team Developer – You will continue to lead the team through our organization’s transformation, as our revenue models and marketing function continues to transform. You lead with a drive-to-action mindset, across routes to revenue, for outcomes and impact and with effective pace.

You Will Have

  • 10+ years of B2B Marketing and Communications leadership experience, preferably in tech.
  • Proven record of accomplishment in creating and leading sustainable high-performance teams.
  • Significant experience in marketing through multiple go-to-market channels including resellers, systems integrators, and distributors.
  • Preferably career success in large global brands.
