As a geotechnical professional you will be provided with the opportunity to support the organization with technical leadership, organizational skills and development of geotechnical personnel in the business. To excel in this role, strategic thinking and communication skills to influence positive outcomes, effective leadership, development of client relationships and technical delivery are key success factors.
Broader aspects of this position will require you to provide support in the coaching and mentoring of new and existing Jacobs personnel to promote knowledge sharing and technical excellence within the team.
The role will be based in Jacobs Mandaluyong office and will report to the Engineering Manager
Here’s What You’ll Need:
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Equivalent, experience in geotechnical assessment, analysis and design, and be effective in problem-solving and knowledge sharing with strong relevant experience in: Site investigations and testing methods, Geohazard identification, assessment and recommendations. Design and analysis of geotechnical solutions, including reclamations, ground improvement, embankments, slope stabilization, retaining walls, shallow and deep foundations, pavements, earthworks, among other geotechnical matters.
Verbal and written communication skills. Sound experience in various areas of geotechnical investigation, analysis and design. Understanding of relevant geotechnical standards and design software within areas of expertise.
Positive track record in client management and development in consulting.
