As Senior Environmental Scientist, you will assist the environment team to conduct technical studies in line with Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA), environmental permitting, environmental monitoring, and other environmental assessments. You will liaise with regulatory agencies and clients, develop technical and commercial proposals, and support execution of projects. You are also expected to support different Jacobs’ business lines to provide advice on environmental aspects for feasibility studies and strategic consulting services.
As Senior Environmental Scientist, you will be working under the direction of the Environmental Services Country Lead with additional reporting to the Regional Technical Director.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
You are a mature environmental professional with leadership potential and capability to work with a team of diverse professionals. You have a deep understanding of the environmental impact assessment process and local environmental regulations and can provide sound advice and holistic solutions to our internal and external clients.
You will have the following:
- Bachelor's degree or a higher qualification in environmental science, physical or life sciences, or environmental engineering.
- With a substantial number of years of experience in EIA, environmental management, environmental monitoring, and environmental assessments.
- You will possess a Certification from DENR-EMB as an EIA preparer or equivalent.
- Knowledge of International Finance Corporation (IFC)- World Bank Performance Standards, Equator Principles, or equivalent, desired but not mandatory.
- Experience in Asian Development Bank (ADB) and international projects desired but not mandatory
