WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Senior Director, Cisco Capital APJ Sales, will drive financial product direct sales to customers, integration with Cisco Product and Services Sales organizations. This leader will own an annual quota of approximately $1B.  The leader must balance Cisco sales enablement, profitability, and risk aspects and work in a matrix organization. The ability to lead and grow a cross-functional team of high-performance finance professionals and managers is an essential requirement. The ability to work, integrate with, and influence Cisco APJ Sales SVP's and VP's and operate effectively as part of the Cisco APJ Management Team is critical to success.

 

 

This position will perform some international travel.  Significant financial solutions selling leadership experience, executive business acumen, and coordinating/collaborating with cross-functional Cisco Capital activities to support sales and business roles are essential and required.

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You'll be part of the extended leadership team of Cisco APJ Sales.  You will be a core member of the Cisco Capital APJ LT, participate in key workstreams to enable the business and work cross-functionally to drive improvements and changes for the field teams.  Channel partners are critical to success, and you will develop relationships at the CXO level.

WHO YOU ARE

Leading, coaching, and developing a team of sales professionals and managers, the candidate will be responsible for annual financing volumes of over $1B, with significant growth opportunities in all segments (i.e., Enterprise, Service Provider, Commercial, Public Sector)

  • Create, maintain, and expand executive-level relationships with business partners within the APJC and transform current partners towards new business models.
  • Develop and present financing sales strategies/products and lead customer discussions with CEO and CFO to advance the sales process
  • Be able to influence critical decisions and effectively develop/execute business strategies
  • Communicate company vision, go-to-market strategy, and execution plan with the team
  • Build a collaborative and inclusive culture amongst sales and the cross-functional teams (i.e., Credit, Operations, Legal, etc.) within the APJ and globally
  • Develop and provide innovative approaches that enhance collaboration with partners and employees
  • Build strong executive relationships while at the same time being able to maximize the impact
  • Create a culture of excellence and an environment of collaboration across functional groups
  • Provide input to New Product Development and execute strategies to drive adoption of new financial products 

OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE

  • 15+ years of leadership experience spanning the APJ geography
  • 10+ years of sales experience working at the executive level with specific examples of supporting large strategic deals 
  • Extensive knowledge of local and global financial markets.
  • Experience in structured financing, as well as utility-type sales
  • Demonstrated track record of implementing change and innovation in a sales environment
  • Existing customer and partner relationships at an executive level
  • Understanding of the IT industry and the ability to translate industry dynamics to a financial services business is highly desirable
