Reporting to ASEAN Supply Chain Transformation Lead, the Management Consultant will actively contribute to manage and jointly lead with Senior Management Consultants and/or other counterparts in Supply Chain and Procurement offerings across ASEAN. In addition, She/he will also actively contribute and jointly lead in business development activities, drive maintain effective business relationships with our key clients’ management teams and influence the overall success of IBM Supply Chain Consulting offerings across the industry sectors. IBM is a leader in Supply Chain Consulting practice and driving the convergence of data analytics with emerging supply chain digital technologies with focus on:
- Cognitive Supply Chain Control Tower
- Cognitive Process Re-engineering
- Augmented Intelligence and Natural Language Processing
- Advanced Analytics
- Blockchain and IoT Capabilities
The Management Consultant will be responsible for the identification, qualification and progression of existing and new IBM Supply Chain solutions and services. Deep expertise in end-to-end Supply Chain Planning and Distribution Network Design, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement Transformation and Analytics and implementation experience SAP Ariba and other Procurement, Planning and Logistics solutions. Fulfillment and Logistics experience in implementation consulting projects or operations would be a plus. She/he will also be responsible for driving integration of IBM’s Supply Chain Digital capabilities with various Supply Chain and Procurement solutions and enable our clients in their digital transformation journey and benefits realization.
Additional responsibilities and/or skillsets include:
6+ years of increasing responsibility and track record of success in a consulting, supply chain, and/or business development role for Consumer Products / Retail or Industrial sector clients
In-depth understanding of end-to-end supply chain planning processes (i.e. Demand Planning, Supply Planning, Sales & Operations Planning/Integrated Business Planning) and a planning functional expert
In-depth understand of end-to-end strategic sourcing process to procurement to pay operations processes (i.e. Sourcing and Category Management, Procurement, Contract Management, Supplier Management, Supplier Risk Management)
Strong exposure to SAP Ariba or any other procurement solutions and have designed and implemented the functional end-to-end processes and business requirements for the clients
Some exposure to SAP/S4HANA Planning modules i.e. IBP, APO or Distribution Network Design solutions/modelling tools and have designed and/or implemented the functional end to end processes and business requirements for clients
Exposure to supply chain management for Distribution and Industrial focused clients
Client relationship management and account management skills with experience in leading mid-large size deals and project delivery
Excellent people management skills with strong focus on quality delivery
Up to 25% or 2 days a week (home on weekends- based on project requirements)
