Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior Accountant who uses experienced professional accountant knowledge to resolve diverse accounting matters and performs monthly accounting close activities for India.
Responsibilities
Perform General Ledger Month End Close
Prepares and posts adhoc India journal entries
Performs flux analysis
Prepares India BS reconciliations
Prepares VAT reconciliations & India Year End Accounting works
Work with Internal and External auditors and service providers for US GAAP and IGAAP/Ind AS GAAP related reporting
Follow up on aged or open items within policy guidelines
Support on adhoc works like manual invoice raising, government surveys etc
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree
CPA India preferred or Chartered Accountant with 5+ years in GL accounting
Advanced Excel Skills
Self-starter and ability to work independently
Result orientated and highly analytical
Excellent teamwork across the Global Accounting team and wider Equinix organization
Confident in communicating to staff at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Able to meet demanding schedules and deadlines
