Why We Are Hiring:

  • Provides leadership for the overall Project Delivery operations in assigned cluster and develop a high performing Projects team to achieve flawless execution.
  • Full ownership and accountability of financials (Revenue, Margin rate expansion, UBR and AR) & operational metrics
  • Drives, supports and ensure adherence and compliance to SEA led processes & initiatives to ensure consistency and standardisation across country/region
  • In collaboration with the Engineering, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Logistics, Sales & Commercial, Global Products teams, drives the operational & functional excellence with capabilities building to achieve business goals & targets.
  • Drives Implementation of transformation programs and ensure target are met and exceeded

What You Will Do:

  • Drive project financial performance and reviews including Revenue, GM, Backlog, UBR, AR and VOs in the cluster.
  • Drive effective portfolio management to ensure business makes sound decision on securing & executing projects
  • Develop and manage tiered processes from proposal through project turnover to optimize schedule, scope, and cost to maximize customer success and the company’s profitability
  • Direct projects Risk and Opportunity reviews / asses risk and opportunity management outcomes
  • Champion continuous improvement efforts on project operation process, e.g., project closing process, transition process, urgent purchase process
  • Responsible for overall contracting strategies and execution which includes tender & bid evaluations, site progress, budgeting, scheduling, and project completion according to the established timelines
  • Manage business and project risks, perform project controls including cost and schedule control, progress monitoring and evaluation
  • Develop annual project closing plan to effectively track project performance 
  • Review projects to determine the VO opportunities, set up annual VO plan to increase project revenue and earning
  • Provide resolution of escalated project management/ installation and service issues with customers and other stakeholders
  • Develop relationships, present technical solutions to the customer and other stakeholders when required
  • Continuously improve contracting, project execution, installation, test & commissioning processes
  • Provide leadership and management in the execution of projects and sales tenders which includes the following:
    • Oversee the tendering and proposal preparation team and formulate overall strategies
    • Ensure all project activities involving engineering, procurement, installation, and commissioning are well coordinated, delivered on time and within budget
    • Manage in project scope, potential crises, and devise contingency plans to coach, mentor, motivate and supervise the project team
  • Provide visibility report to SEA Project Delivery team on Project Health, Risk and Governance 

What We Look For:


Education, Technical Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • University degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Another advanced degree required, additional technical degree preferred 
  • Strong knowledge of Project Management with more than 15 years of relevant experience in the field
  • Solid experience in operations and fulfillment in services business managing large frontline team
  • Proven track record in delivering the strong results with strong accountability and say/do
  • Demonstrate leadership ability to lead effectively in matrix structure with strong influencing skills
  • Demonstrate financial and business acumen with strong skills in customer relationship building and management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both internally and dealing with external customers and stakeholders
  • Business acumen to comprehend financial numbers and make significant contributions to development of business plans
  • May need to travel overseas as and when required
