Job Description

Kalrez® and Vespel® is a unique and world leading special polymer business within its material domain under T&I to provide custom-engineered solutions to the world’s toughest sealing, wear, and friction challenges. We have a wide spectrum of markets including electronics, energy & material handling, aerospace and automotive.
The candidate will be responsible for managing and growing Kalrez® and Vespel® (KV) business in ASEAN with the focus on semiconductor segment. This role is expected to establish DuPont strong direct relationship and leadership position with end-customers covering from semiconductor fabs and OEMs to energy & machine handling segment customers under the partnership with distributor channels to both sustain KV dominate share position and more importantly develop new customers or applications to achieve business growth aspiration.
 
Responsibilities
  • Lead multi-million distributors/direct accounts to achieve future growth through successful commercialization of new development projects
  • Continuously explore and develop new applications/opportunities
  • Maintain and nurture relationships with responsible accounts base on trust and mutual understanding
  • Negotiate contracts/agreements involving pricing and payment terms
  • Adopt value-selling approach to resolve customers’ issues with KV solutions
  • Facilitate product training programs to customers and distributors
  • Manage customers’ quality/service complaints
  • Develop good understanding of the market especially in future trends and competition activities
  • Coordination of activities with regional/global teams in technical and operations
  • Future role expansion to include other industries namely Aerospace, Automotive and Oil & Gas-related
  • Willing to travel in ASEAN/ANZ region

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Polymer Science
  • Experience in Technical or Sales and Marketing role is preferred
  • Familiarity with Semiconductor Industry is strongly preferred
  • Self-learning and positive work attitude
  • Able to work independently and under pressure
  • Proficient communication skills with both external customers and internal cross-functional/ regional teams
  • Capability to work with multi-national team members
  • Demonstrated strong negotiation skills
