Job Description

An established Enterprise-level sales professional with Software/Services experience preferably in SaaS marketing and advertising platforms.   This IBM role is for the exclusive support of the Acoustic Marketing product portfolio formerly known as the Watson Marketing portfolio, and part of the Watson Customer Engagement (WCE) business unit.  The Acoustic products are part of the business divestiture announced in April 2019 between IBM and Centerbridge, which has closed in the US in July 2019 and is due to close in Europe in 1H 2020.  Centerbridge has set up new legal entities in Europe for the divested business called Acoustic.  In the transition period pending close in Europe, IBM employees in scope to transfer to Acoustic will work exclusively in support of the Acoustic business.  At the close of the divestiture in Europe, the IBM employee in this role will transfer automatically under law to Acoustic and will cease to be an IBM employee. Your Role and Responsibilities :
An established Enterprise-level sales professional with Software/Services experience preferably in SaaS marketing and advertising platforms.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Develop new Enterprise and SME business in vertical markets include Retail, Telco, Financial Services, Banking, Online Gaming, Travel &Transport, Media & Entertainment.
  • Profile each customer, develop the sales strategy, determine the entire decision-making process and work with key stakeholders, C-level contacts and key 3rd party influencers and business partners such as GSIs and global Digital Agencies in the accounts to develop differentiated solutions form the company’s software and services portfolio that drive demonstrable value for the customer. - Candidates will preferably have qualifications to degree level and can show existing experience in delivering outstanding results as a sales executive.

Required expertise:

  • Excellent business English Language skills (written and verbal)
  • 5+ years sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Experience selling SaaS solutions
  • Ability to assess customer business, determine solution fit and quantity business benefits
  • Ability to work collaboratively with Inside Sales, Marketing, Client success Managers and 3rd party Channel Business Partners     
  • Track record of over-achieving quota
  • Effective account/contact research
  • Ability to craft account and customer specific messages
  • Strong phone presence and experience working through multiple calls per day
  • Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools
  • Effective discovery skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong collaboration and teaming skills
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively

Preferred expertise:

  • Experience working for/with leading Marketing Technology company
  • 5+ years sales experience with a proven track record of success
  • Experience selling Marketing Cloud solutions
