Job Description
At Jacobs, our Power Solutions team is geared towards providing a more integrated approach offering end-to-end service to support our clients in energy networks, thermal generation, renewable generation and storage solutions space. We are helping our clients meet the challenges faced in countries and cities across the globe, providing innovative solutions from replacing conventional thermal power plants with renewable energy to developing demand side management strategies.
We are seeking an experience Project Manager (Geothermal) - to join our Power team in Asia. Reporting to the Director of Projects, you will have overall responsibility for delivery projects in terms stakeholder management, HSE, quality, schedule, cost, and resource management
Key responsibilities include
The overall planning, organization, direction, coordination and control of all operations to meet the project objectives in line with Jacobs project execution and quality plan and project procedures
Management of (progress) payments and final acceptance by the Client (within the contract conditions and at an optimum cash flow). Verifying that contractor, upon contract award, have been instructed with regard to the applicable legal HSE regulations and Client’s requirements
Overall responsibility with respect to HSE matters for a specific project, and delegates specific related activities to his team members. Responsible for seeing to it that no adverse situations exist in the projects for which he is responsible. Meeting Jacobs’ financial targets as set for the projects under his/her supervision.
Here's What You'll Need:
Experience in engineering & contracting of which as a Project Manager (prefer at least one recent EPCM contract). University engineer in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical engineering, preferably with training in management techniques (or equivalent).
Demonstrated project management techniques with the successful delivery of delivery of major projects. Good understanding of relevant contractual matters, working knowledge of the application of computerized systems particularly those to be used for projects. Proven communication and stakeholder management skills
