Based in our Jakarta, reporting to the Project Director, client program manager and operations management, you will be managing multiple environmental projects at any one time to meet client and Jacobs’s project targets including environmental conditions, health & safety, schedule, quality, compliance, commercial and other project-specific goals.
In addition, you support, guide mentor, and supervise a team of environmental & technical personnel to implement client’s and Jacob’s project, technical and HSEQ procedures; be accountable to ensure the deliverables meeting or exceeding the requirements.
- Facilitate an interactive and creative process with client, external stakeholders, project team members and technical experienced professionals to determine risk-based environmental management strategies and technical solutions
- Conduct project kick off and HSEQ inspections at project sites.
- Represent the project and Jacobs during engagements with Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Republik Indonesia, other government agencies and organizations.
- Prepare or review technical and commercial proposals/bids and support other types of environmental or engineering projects and proposals, or other company activities as and when needed.
Here’s What You’ll Need:
You have comprehensive depth and/or breadth of expertise in contaminated land assessment, remediation, and management. You interpret internal or external environmental and business issues and recommend best practices; solve complex problems; consider multiple perspectives to identify different solutions; guides others in resolving complex issues in specialized area based on new and existing solutions and procedures. You represent Jacobs in a professional and positive manner and understands the client's business environment.
- With a Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology or Hydrogeology
- Demonstrated experience working or collaborating with Kementerian Lingkungan Hidup dan Kehutanan Republik Indonesia
- With project management background on impacts assessments and/or site characterization and remediation work.
- Trained in HAZWOPER, international or local or oil & gas industry health & safety aspects
Able to conduct low to moderate level of travelling within the country (when travel restrictions are lifted)
