Problem Solving/Assessment

  • Determines and applies appropriate methodologies and tools for analyzing a range of functional and/or cross-functional issues (sometimes complex or with a high level of ambiguity)
  • Proactively Identifies process gaps/issues and recommends areas for improvement
  • Dynamic forward thinking to ensure customers are not impacted by process/technical failures
  • Assesses impact of manual workarounds using time/motion studies
  • Determines and utilizes appropriate methodology including Lean Six Sigma where appropriate

Release Management

  • Obtains, creates and documents business requirements engaging multiple stakeholders
  • Creates BRDs and manages cross-functional and cross-regional reviews of low/medium complexity
  • Works with the BSA's and Dev team on solution design and development
  • Reviews functional design (FD)
  • Assesses solutions from multiple angles 
  • Reviews functional design, working closely with BSAs and DEV teams to ensure solution meets requirements
  • Partners with stakeholders to analyze, define and document business processes within and across functional areas
  • Utilizes Lean Six Sigma methodology; may design or improve business processes
  • Assist in performing user acceptance testing (UAT)
  • Responsible for ensuring  UAT is fully planned and executed
  • Assesses testing progress
  • Updates process and procedural documentation
  • Completes post deployment analysis, monitoring and control
  • Assesses post project benefits and success
  • Builds training material

Project Management

  • Creates and coordinates smaller project plans and resources, executing them using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Ensures resources are in the right place at the right time
  • Works with stakeholders to gain alignment through implementation and post-implementation stages
  • Communicates team progress
  • Creates scope, project charter and stakeholder analysis
  • Applies appropriate project management skills and best practices including Lean Six Sigma
  • Identifies and manages risks and issues

Reporting and Metrics

  • Status reporting providing periodic project updates, highlighting risks, issues and concerns
  • Creates and publishes dashboards
  • Performs ad-hoc reporting


  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent Experience
  • Full CCNA (Working towards CCNP, JNCIA Desirable
  • Support and network experience including advanced switching, routing, and cloud computing. Network Operations Center or advanced network service experience for a network service provider highly desired
  • Open to change. We are often balancing between speed of deployment and process in a rapidly evolving work environment so you must be resourceful, flexible, and open to change
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills to work and collaborate with team members in different regions
  • Experience testing features, products and solution validation before the customer release
  • Experience driving operational improvements on customer portal, network orchestration, quote-to-cash, IP management, and alarm management systems preferred.
  • Background in network automation orchestration and hands on experience of handling Virtualized Network Function, Open Stack highly desired
  • Networking Certifications such as Cisco CCNP, Juniper JNCP or higher is a plus
  • Hands on exposure to routers and switches from one or more vendors like Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Nokia etc required
  • AWS, Azure or OpenStack certification is desirable
  • Good understanding of Software Defined Networking or Cloud computing technologies and associated network services is a plus
  • Experience working with Database like Oracle, Siebel applications is a plus
  • Understanding of Automation architecture, hands on experience developing scripts in python and automation in networking domain desirable
  • Schedule flexibility is necessary to work with global teams
